@NoTime Yeah, it has to do with the fact that USB wasn't originally designed to be super secure - it was just a universal connector to replace the bajillion serial ports and whatnot on older systems.

On the USB thing, it's not the thumbdrive that is bad necessarily. The part that makes things a little crazy is being able to rewrite the firmware on your box just by plugging something in.

@RPi_Awesomeness: I spend 10$/month and got 50mbps Ethernet for that. Unfortunately, if I want 100Mbps, I have to pull my own Cat6 cable from the 5th to the 12th floor as the internal wiring is Cat4

Oh dear... Had to do a password reset and all, think someone hacked into my account or something because the password definitely was different to the one I set... :( :S But all fine now it seems...
