PAE stands for P-hysical A-ddress E-xtension to access 4 GiB RAM on 32-bit systems. This is not needed for a 64-bit Ubuntu.

It'd be sweet if you could arrange either on the site, on the blog, on the wiki or whatever else the simplest guide you can arrange on how to make sure you get native graphic acceleration (proprietary drivers if necessary) before Steam is released for Linux later (?) this year (valve time)

Okay it sounds like your RAM is definitely going but to make sure run a boot-able program called MEMTEST86 and let it run for a while and see if any errors pop up. If you get no errors that doesn't automatically exclude the troubleshooting the RAM. But before you go out and buy a new stick check ...

I've just been on the Fuduntu Website and watched the slideshow of Fuduntu-screenshots they got on it. And on the third picture there was a tool on the Desktop that looked very similar to Rainmeter on Windows and now I am asking what program is this?
