i had better luck with later releases all facts told, but it seems i am the exception judging by questions here

of course i use multi-screen and it has grown leaps and bounds in the last year

well, multi-screen support was less good a couple of releases ago. to get it working on one card i had to set it to xinerama and give up visual effects

dual dvi + displayport. the hdmi is probably dead (it usually is if all other slots are occupied)

Oh well both of mine have 3x slots. 2 are DVI and 1 is HDMI I use my two main monitors on HDM and my other Two on DVI. I had to add an extra PSU to my tower to get enough juice to the cards. They are the huge ones..

it's a 1440 SPU ati card they discontinued for heat issues

can't wait to see if it will push crysis three without committing sipuku, but it's my understanding it's the same engine as crysis 2 ... which is a good thing

i'ld rather have one monster than a couple of middle grounds. crossfire/sli have issues with provisioning data/textures.

so it's not really double speed

probably better off provisioning one to physics and the other to graphics than running sli. just saying

yes. the paste they use to make the curry in larger amounts (i've applied raw curry paste to oral infections and had them clear)

I wonder if a Unity launcher would be a good replacement for NitroShare's "share box".

The share box really doesn't work very well (from a technical point-of-view).

...and Unity launchers can have a progress bar, so... that helps. Oh, and I think you can even drag stuff on to them.

The one caveat may be integrating Unity's launcher API with Qt.

...and then there's the problem of what to do on other platforms.

The problem is that the "share box" doesn't stay in the background all of the time. Some platforms support the "always stay on bottom" flag. Others don't.
