Ya... not so much for anyone looking to grow a career lol. Right now I'm in a paralegal progam but I'm not even sure if I want to do that. Even if I did want to get into programming (eh...) in game dev there are literally only 4 places around here. One of them is defunct (bought out by EA I think), and the others are either too far or dodgy looking.
There is a silver lining though. The police presence is increasing and cracking down on the junkies/dealers. I have a feeling that some developer wants to buy up some areas and build some copy/paste houses.
Then you have the morons building on top of swamp land (and mangroves) complaining about the smell. Better yet you have the same ones 20 years later wondering why their house has a sinkhole. Maybe because you built it on top of mud? Idiots.
so I run 2 loops 1. offset Root bone to maintain an offset from hips 2. offset Hips bone to maintain specific offset from root bone .. this will bring down model by the same amount that it went up due to translation in setp 1
yeah i can override root motions . . but there are a couple of animations that work really good with root motion
*stuff
also i have 2400+ animations downloaded from mixamo .. so was writing small piece of application that would automate this tuff
I have downloaded FBX animations from Mixamo.com for use in game.
But seems like the "root" skeleton bone does not have translations in Z axis; which makes animations like climbing a ladder or ledge unusable in game engine.
The animation file does not have any mesh data and has just one animati...
That level background conspiracy dude I talked about yesterday has no clue what he is doing, I'm guessing he hasnt written a single line of code ever

It's not that straight forward for me still. I know now that I am calling one static image but I do not know how to call different images with each level change. There is a gamelayer.java and a levelmap.java in which I feel like it can be done and maybe but I don't know where to put that code and which code to add. Game was made using cocos2d as there are files for it too. I've searched the internet but this is not so clearly explained or maybe I am just not getting it. I need more more guidance.... — Mohamed Aadhil4 hours ago

I wont be giving him more more guidance, as he just essentially seems to want me to implement the functionality in levelmap.java
