Q: 16.04 and VMbuilder

macurieI need to create a 16.04 LTS Server qcow2 image with some modifications. Questions: What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to do with python-vm-builder? Please show how.

I have built a 16.04 LTS qcow2 image with python-vm-builder, but KVM says it doesn't contain an operating system. What could be wrong?

When I try to install python with Conda I get: /opt/conda/pkgs/python-3.5.1-0/bin/python: error while loading shared libraries: libpython3.5m.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

@Albas I thought the ineq. sign should only be reversed when I divide or multiply with a negative number
Feb 17, 2016 13:10
@Albas Yes, but I can't see how to get $\frac{1}{\epsilon}-1\le 2n$
Feb 17, 2016 13:08
@TobiasKildetoft
Feb 17, 2016 13:08
But I know that the inequality sign should be reversed
Feb 17, 2016 13:08
I get $2n\le\frac{1}{\epsilon}-1$
Feb 17, 2016 13:07
Sorry, I meant $|\frac{1}{2n+1}|\le\epsilon$.
Feb 17, 2016 13:06
I have problems solving for $n$
Feb 17, 2016 13:05
Sorry, I meant $|\frac{1}{2n+1}|\le\epsilon$.
Feb 17, 2016 11:34
@TobiasKildetoft So I should just draw it as dots approaching 0 from 1?
Feb 17, 2016 11:27
@TobiasKildetoft I mean how would one sketch it?
Feb 17, 2016 11:26
What does the set look like?
Feb 17, 2016 11:26
What does the set $\{\frac{1}{n}|n\in\mathbb{N}\}$ on a number line?

It's the first one I'm worried about

Is it correct to pronounce $a\ge b$ as "a is greater than b" and $a>b$ as "a is strictly greater than b"?

@Semiclassical Thanks!
Jan 25, 2016 20:58
yes
Jan 25, 2016 20:57
@Semiclassical Sorry but I don't follow the last part of the argument
Jan 25, 2016 20:36
How can I do that?

@Krijn Yes, but I want to prove it with sumbols

Let $x\in\mathbb{N}\Rightarrow$ be even. How do I prove that "x^2 is odd" ==> "x is odd" without proving the contrapositive?
Jan 23, 2016 18:55
@prive hi
Jan 22, 2016 21:32
I meant "let $U$ be a subspace in $\mathbf{R}^n$".
Jan 22, 2016 21:25
w again?
Jan 22, 2016 21:25
Let w be a vector in $\mathbf{R}^n$ and $U$ be a subspace in $U$. Let $w\in U$. What do I get when I project w onto U?
Jan 21, 2016 15:47
I think you mean $\vec{a}$ :)
