Still plenty fast for me here

Or... maybe the 403 is on /search
Which is a thing we did?

oh, regex search

Can you give me the privs I need to do that?

5:01 PM
@thesecretmaster I can see it using the first 3 workers, and the fourth occasionally. Looks like the other two are mostly unemployed
----------- Application groups -----------

@thesecretmaster loadtest, right
Should work now

OK. I also might be using up my bandwidth, because I'm not on my home machine.
K scaling up my test. Got other slow routes for me to attack?

oh, flag condition sandbox

Just gimme a path

Also /review, sometimes.
@thesecretmaster https://metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/graphs/af_accuracy

K, just expanded test

5:06 PM
@WELZ If you're interested, I have a userscript which adds a scrollbar to the starboard.

/reasons is another route that could benefit from some sort of streaming
Like I suggested for regex search

CPU pegged, web UI slowing down
How many req/s is that now?

Lemme math it, 1 sec

Looks like 10-30 to me

Sounds about right. In theory it should be doing 120, but I think my bandwidth is maxing out.

Passenger claims to still not be maxed out, too

Queue at 0, always 1-2 workers open
CPU is pegged, though

@Makyen Thanks, mith sent one earlier - but I didn't really like it (maybe I should try it again) - now I just hid all the tags 😏

5:09 PM
I think problem solved?

Seems like it to me
Thank you soooo much. Having people who know what they're doing helps a lot

Just killed the test, so you still get some CPU credits.

It's actually pretty nice, I'll keep it on for now.

CPU credits are just fine. 288/300

@Undo I... um... I definitely know what I'm doing. Also I might just be good at guessing.

5:10 PM
@WELZ Yeah, if that's the one I think it is, I've tried it and didn't like it. I wanted something that scrolled just the starboard, not everything else. So, that's what I wrote.

@thesecretmaster Is there really a difference? :P

@Makyen I knew something, was different in this one (I liked it better for some reason) Thanks!

TSM also is pretty good at delivering stuff quickly

@Mithrandir I've had those ipsbot issues sitting on my desk for > a week, but I'll take it :)

@Makyen yeah, that doesn't help me when the stars aren't even visible at all :P
@thesecretmaster I mean... once you start doing it, it's usually pretty quick ;)

aye

@Mithrandir Yeah, mine requires that there's at least some room available for the starboard. TBH, if the window I used was that height, I'd just hide the description and tags, at least for rooms I know. Hmmm... maybe I'd just make the description, tags and users sections collapse unless hovered by the mouse.

tpu- by ByteCommander

10:30 PM
...i just realized there are 8 pages of domains tagged #drugs

@SmokeDetector custom mod flagged: This is spam. But, it discloses the author's affiliation. If the question asks for recommendations, then by the definitions used on SE, it's not spam. The problem is the question. It just states that the person is "curious about learning a new discipline for self defense" without stating an actual question. It's a bad question for a Q&A site. It's basically asking for discussion, but could be considered to be asking for recommendations, making this answer not-spam.
@SmokeDetector This is fp, but appears to be a setup for more of what this user posted in this MS report, which is another answer on the same question.

@Mithrandir what percentage of Google search results have been spam of your searches so far?

100%

the specific searches, that is, i.e. site:medium.com "spammydomain.com"
@Mithrandir so... should be possible to automate that

10:44 PM
actually, not quite 100%
there are all the user results, which are technically spam but I'm ignoring, and the ones that redirect to a suspended page, and the... two that have had the misfortune to have an "also tagged <whatever>" spam come up on it

As long as it's reasonably high and/or the legit posts are easily distinguishable, automating it is feasible

It's a list, but it's not an easily actionable list. If the goal is to get them to take action and/or to work with us, breaking it up might be a better start - send them the first... I dunno, 500? and say there's literally thousands more where that came from, just needs some work to collate them

or if they're just gonna randomly look at a few and then dump them all into an automated kill-with-fire thing
