I'm kind of thinking a future Town Hall Chat should be moderated. Have questions submitted in Meta prior to Town Hall, and have a Panel (of existing mods and users, selected... somehow) asking questions based on said meta submissions, but also following up and allowing a bit more back and forth. Would be a worthwhile experiment IMO.

But I remember there being a decision "We're not doing this again".

Part of the issue is that having pre-arranged questions requires people to think of things in advance, and it can limit the ability for people to ask follow-up questions.

MY problem with ITG has more to do with the problem that any answers can only be guesses, nothing more.

My problem with ITG is that the vast majority of ITG questions happen to suck. The tag is a magent for the worst content on the site.
