@angussidney No for some reason tampermonkey came up asking for permission to alter the page. Which is weird, because I already did that. But maybe it pulled an update.

@DJMcMayhem privs granted. You may also wish to consider: (1) an account on metasmoke, our web dashboard and API engine - that'll allow you to do reviews of posts that have no feedback yet, and to use (2), which is apps such as FDSC that use the metasmoke API. FDSC adds feedback options to the flag dialog, which can be easier than learning the full syntax.

(3) get a diamond on one of the sites so the breeding ritual is fulfilled

Haha, I wish

> Where diamonds are made
Spend enough time in here, and we seem to have a funny habit of creating new mods. I'd recommend most of the regulars here for diamondage.

@Undo That error appears when I try to reset my MS password using the email address I have on HR

My mother tongue isn't Persian, but I'm a fluent Persian speaker.

Just FYI. It doesn't need to be reset right now, I can wait

oh, password resets have been broken forever. Give me a sec to finish this and I'll look

No problem. I'm not really around right now anyway. I just walked past the computer and was checking. I'm headed out in about 2 minutes

8:11 PM
@Andy Should be fixed now

8:25 PM
@Undo Ok. I'll check when I'm back at my computer. Thanks for looking

@DJMcMayhem: It seems this is your first time sending feedback to SmokeDetector. Make sure you've read the guidance on your privileges, the available commands, and what feedback to use in different situations.

Whoops, I think that should be n not f.
Can I change it?

9:48 PM
@DJMcMayhem f looks correct - n is naa and it is an answer.

Barely

NAA feedback has sometimes been a little confusing. Using n as your feedback should, in general, be done if:

the post is not spam, abusive, offensive etc. (use k)
you would flag the post as Not An Answer on the site itself

@Ferrybig yeah, known bug. It's because when you flag before the page loads, the script can't tell whether the post doesn't have a MS post record, or whether it hasn't finished fetching post data from MS yet. I tried to fix it last night, but broke it; I'll see what I can do today
@Oldskool sorry about that re-auth bug. Since 1.0.0 we have been unable to use StackExchange native popups, which the input box uses. When I get the chance, I'll fix that.

11:36 PM
@DJMcMayhem yeah, n would be ideal there but there's no real difference between n and f and it's not worth invalidating your own feedback for.

11:46 PM
@ArtOfCode what course are you taking at uni?

oh god, I reset my google chrome to it's defaults I don't even have tamper monkey doink

@ArtOfCode oh. So then why is there a distinction at all? Smoky only flags spam, so it's not like it's building a heuristic for NAA or something

@DJMcMayhem Because some people felt bad marking terrible non-answers as false positives, so...

@DJMcMayhem I think he means no functional difference in the way that the post still wasn't spam; but I think we have that feedback so that we can say 'hey, that should have been deleted anyway, so let's mark it as such'

@hichris123 but under the hood, it doesn't do anything different?

11:59 PM
@DJMcMayhem It's tracked seperately
