Another FDSC bugfix coming your way. v1.2.1 now available, click to manually update. Any issues where the script reports when it shouldn't report should now be fixed. Ping me if they aren't.

@Undo any chance you could pin that and remove the last update message from the star list?
BTW @undo, is the blacklist command in chat or the blacklist button on MS safe to use yet, or should we wait until you have fixed up all of the bugs and permissions?
@angussidney your modified script tries to report the post even though it is already reported, and does not send feedback. Happened to another post also but I clicked cancel.
@SmokeDetector k
!!/test Warning! Ramz is GAY! His anal is worn out lol lol
@angussidney it happened to me only on answers, so I have to wait for another one. But it happened for both the answers I flagged as spam and were reported
one of them I clicked "cancel", but the popup came for both
Although that ping would have worked much better if you wrote: @ang US worked this time
:P
Maybe the problem is (still) when the page hasn't fully loaded. I'll check that next time.
@ArtOfCode any chance you could create a 'report post' write route on the MS API so that FDSC can make an API request to report rather than spamming chat?
Almost anything is technically possible, it's just a question of difficulty :) In this case, we've already got the websocket, so it won't be too hard. I may just be able to feed it straight to Smokey and let smokes do all the hard work of creating the post record.
@ArtOfCode whatever works sounds great. I don't need it any time soon; I have some assignments etc due in the next two weeks and I also still have to roll our own status messages etc since the SE ones broke, so I don't expect to have any time to work on this for at least half of 6-8 weeks :P

@ArtOfCode, when you have a moment, can you grant the MS token you gave me last week the ability to write too? You had mentioned it was read only at the time.
@hichris123 It is very typical of spammers to answer old questions and chuck in the name of some software that has no apparent connection to the problem in the question. That happens regularly on SU. So regularly that I have given up giving them the benefit of the doubt. I also cast VTC on the poor question.
@hichris123 We should assume good faith but only to some extent. We must allow for some margin of error – otherwise we cannot cast red flags at all. E.g., every second abusive post could theoretically be a cat on a keyboard, but how likely is it?

I guess so, but do not report posts where you're uncertain whether it's spam or not with SmokeDetector. If you're not sure, we don't want the bot dealing with it.
@hichris123 1/ PangoBright has been spammed before (on the same question and elsewhere). 2/ Their web page page says "It works on Windows 7, Vista and XP." The question was for Windows 10 3/ JourneymanGeek (SU Mod) agreed with me and deleted the answer :)
@DavidPostill Deleted the answer == deleted as not spam. If it was deleted by Community, that meant that a mod raised a spam flag on it. It was a bad answer, but I don't think it was spam.
And when we start considering "doesn't quite work on the exact version of Windows" as a spam candidate... sure, Android software on Ask Different is strange, but Win 7 vs Win 10?

Also, I'm not sure what spammed means, just posted another answer?
Maybe because they didn't understand what happened to their answer?
@DavidPostill Helpful means that the post was deleted. But it does not mean that the post was spam deleted -- if it says that it was deleted by Journeyman, then it was just normally deleted, not spam deleted.
@hichris123 <shrug> I'm not going to debate this anymore. If I think something is spam I will flag it. You are free to disagree. If I get a flag suspension I will take a break.
Alright, but do not be surprised if your feedback is invalidated, etc. We do not want Smokey to become a cabal of "well, it might be spam... let's delete it."
@Rubisco With three/four declined flags, it does happen. :)
> Flaggers with a recent (past 7 days) flagging history consisting of at least 10 handled flags where >= 10% of flags were declined will see the following when they flag:
It just depends on how many flags you've raised vs. how many were declined.
