To everyone (especially trusted users): no need to cast delete votes on spam/offensive posts. Just cast the appropriate flag, so that the post can eventually be deleted, locked, and censored by Community. If a mod comes by and there's already some spam/offensive flags (less than 6), they'll take it from there.
While understandable (I used to do it), it's actually counter-productive as fewer people will see it to flag. On the other hand, if at least one spam/offensive flag is active, a moderator will see it. So it's probably not a big deal.
@SimonAndréForsberg Yes, and maybe I'm just being a bit more aggressive with such content. Maybe in this case (the latest offensive answer), more trusted users saw it before everyone else.
@Jamal I don't know about all that. You guys are around most of the time, but not always. Personally, I don't want garbage like that hanging around for people to see. If I can hide it from lower rep users, I want to.
I understand. It would be nice if such posts were auto-flagged for mods, but it seems that SE doesn't see it as a good enough feature. Yet, they still let Community flag posts closed without comments...
Trusted users (20k+ reputation) can delete downvoted answers and closed questions immediately, only three votes are required. Spam flags take six votes, but can be cast by anyone able to flag (15+ reputation).

So it takes 6 spam flags to auto delete it @Jamal? I guess that's part of my concern. There are times of day when we couldn't get three delete votes from regulars let alone 6 flags on something. I'm going to think on an answer to that MSE question. Thank you.
