I just got to trying out a handheld mixer / electric whisk thing

it uses 2 AA batteries and has "mixer for milk" written on its side

at first it didn't work for some reason, maybe because the batteries were dead or the button was broken

after all it was dirt cheap

then I tried to measure battery voltage and found out that my multimeter's battery was dead

then I tried using a variable voltage power supply through null-batteries and it finally worked

outside the liquid it rotates fast and looks fine, but submerged it's super slow

turning up the voltage to 12 didn't make it much faster

then I decided to grab some dishwashing liquid and made bubbles with it, which was somewhat fun

Q: In the real world, can a network of compromised computers break encryption in parallel?

In the Bloody Monday Manga, in Chapter 3, the protagonist hacks several computers and uses P2P technology as a front to force them to decrypt a certain file. Can this also be applied in the real world, and has such a event actually happened before?

It seems to me like literally any question which can be answered in text can be answered in a video. If it's a common enough thing in a popular video game, probably someone has made a video before.

Anyway I think the proposal has problems which are not unlike Code Golf's problems. But SE CMs have stated that they don't intend to make another site like Code Golf and that it will probably never graduate, so I guess this one isn't likely to succeed.

@senshin Ah yeah I know about the various fan-made mascot characters, but it doesn't count for anything if it's not officially recognized.

Microsoft has acknowledged the importance of cute mascot characters, while Google, Mozilla, and every other browser company I know of hasn't. So I'd rather use their browser whenever possible, regardless of whether it's functionally somewhat inferior.
