I'm a bit puzzled because I got what's supposed to be my overtime payment and for like ... 80hours, I think? (I took the rest as vacation) I got like 8-10times less money than I should have. Tax is hard, but not that much!
@avazula 1500€/month is "the middle" (so, if you earn more, you earn more than 50% of the population) and 3000€/month is 90% I believe (if I remember correctly)
@avazula :/ You might try to "innocently" ask RH about that (like in: "hey, can you explain to me how the payment for overwork works?"). So, if they made a mistake/didn't pay you enough, they might realize it then. (but don't get your hopes too up. I wouldn't be surprise if the overtime system was design to sr*w people over)

@Ælis I already checked with them, it's supposed to be paid 150/175% of the normal price (depending on the type of overtime) and I shouldn't be paying much tax. Heh, we'll see when the pay note comes and why is that
@Ælis nah nah they have all that info and told me they would. Anyway, I'm not after the money, I'm just trying to understand (because the tax administration seems not to have been taken into account again and so I feel like I don't understand the first thing about money and it's driving me crazy :o)
@avazula Even if you are not after the money, I perfectly understand that you would want to understand. I know I'm very much unhappy when I feel someone didn't give me what they should. For me, it's not about the money, it's about trust and respect

Hey there, I am so sorry you are going through that :/ My advise would be to take all the time off that you need and not feel guilty about it (because it's not like you are able to correctly work in a mindset like that). So, go hide in a quiet place (I usually use the bathroom) and let yourself do whatever you want (reading stuff to change your mind or just crying). I can understand why she would not want something like Skype which requires you both to be "on" at the same time, but I also understand your frustration with a media which discourages deeper conversations.
