hmm, to me it read more like "She sounds like my friend, this is what worked with my friend"
(sorry for delay, making dinner :) )

Hmm, yeah. Still not sure what to do though. It's not a 100% clear answer to me.
No worries. About to play a game of Age of Mythology then bedtime. Have a good evening :)

I've accepted this answer because it reflects both on avoiding and de-escalating the situation. It provides me ways to improve, and I agree with the points. In fact, I've tried something like the 1st and 2nd points, but the "500 Euros" was already set in my girlfriend's mind. While that could mean she was arguing in bad faith, I don't think she has a problem with me and only me, she can have bad fights with her friends too. Insults didn't make me more logical and less argumentative either. I'd add one thing, the "read again" part in the chat was less passive-aggressive or accusatory. — FutureEngineer 1 min ago

Hi there :)

9:35 AM
would you know how to do a 2D plot of 3 variables * scratches head *

in which language?
or is it Excel?

haha Matlab :)
I think I got it?

ooh, long time no see, Matlab..

use an extra x-axis, I think

Wouldn't say I missed you

9:38 AM
you didn't like it?

well, I think you can use plots ?
depends if your variables share scales

yeah - different scales :(

if it is, you can just display them in the same plot
erh :(
sorry, not sure I could help with this :/

I think the extra x-axis will work :)

ok :)

It's a small company with about 50 employees and there is no HR person or department. I am pregnant and struggling with insomnia and my commute doesn't help the situation. I a...

Q: How do I help someone to be ready for a relationship and overcome his fears?

hoomanSo, the story is a little complicated and I always have a little trouble expressing myself, I guess that's also one of the reasons why I'm asking for help. First, I'm a Brazilian guy, about to turn 20 years old and I'm gay. I started college about a year ago and there I met this guy. He's awesome...

Q: How do you get someone's honest opinion about your cooking?

HammerN'SongsThe flip-side to this question about being asked one's opinion on food they didn't like; What things should you keep in mind if you have cooked or are cooking a meal for family or friends, and would like their honest opinion of it, for future or immediate reference? I love cooking, and underst...
