Agree with @ChrisSunami, as someone who's name is mispronounced a decent bit (I'm in the US, for context). I don't mind that people can't pronounce it right, but have a homophone for those who'd like to try. I definitely appreciate the extra effort, but I do also mention that it's ok if they don't get it right the first time, or at all - I would say the only thing that bothers me is when people are ridiculously far from any half-decent pronunciation. —
