Q: How to confront a friend who is a pathological liar

janeeThis is all going to sound very judgemental to my friend, but trust me, it's not. I think I know how she feels and I understand why she would do it and I want to help her. My whole friend group does. My friend Alice is a very, very sweet person. People can't see this though because she lies. A l...

Yes this is the answer which i want to edit for grammatical mistakes (if any)

ok, great!

Damn @Tink, you knocked that one out of the park. Well done!

@scohe001 Ehh. Thank you. But I think refraining from making such comments is better ;) they tend to create an 'us vs. they're thingie where people will start feeling hurt ;)
My answers are supposed to help, not to knock people of their feet ;)
Mind if I trash that remark?

@Tinkeringbell it's a baseball reference. "Knocking it out of the park" is a reference to hitting the ball out of the stadium (scoring a home run). I just think it's a very well written answer that does a great job of diffusing the situation and clearing up the misunderstanding
Wasn't shooting for an us vs. them vibe at all
if you feel it'll be misunderstood then you can kill this whole convo

9:43 PM
I dunno.. @EmC you're a native speaker... What do you think?
I'm tired too, not helping XD

@Tinkeringbell eh, I'm leaning towards @scohe001's interpretation, I just read it as "awesome job on the post!" :)

Lol I'm fine either way

@EmC Okay, that just reconfirms my bedtime then! :D

My "well done" was received so I'm happy

Night! And thanks again

9:45 PM
No thank you!
Night!

@DDD OK, I just made some edits!

@Ash things went really well! I stayed at the hotel Saranac in Saranac lake in the adirondacks and there's a surprising amount of history there. Research lab for tubercolosis, tourism, the roaring 20s, etc
Plus skiing and hiking and outdoor activity all year long

user15026
That's pretty cool. :)

Very, very pretty area
The view from the hotel room was amazing ^^
