@JarkoDubbeldam @TheSnarkKnight My doctor told me when I was, like, 16, that I couldn't have a vasectomy until I was older. I think the age he gave me was like 24. I actually had the vasectomy at 26 and have never looked back, six years later. :-p Although I admit that in a male's case, it's a lot more reversible.
Still...there are options for women, too. Egg freezing and the like.

@TheSnarkKnight The comparison isn't a great one, but the point that I was trying to make is that IMO people who don't want kids don't 'always' change their minds later like some people claim...and in the case of health issues, that's even more ammunition against the idea of telling other people what to do and not to do with their bodies.
