Assuming it was fighting humans and bullets would do, why go out of its way to produce laser like weapons? I would be expecting the Resistance to have more of those kind of weapons because they would be able to penetrate any metal Terminator (assuming T-1000s) were not in use yet.

Apparently, when it was in the cop compound, it was able to turn off the lights and pretty much nail every cop on first shot. Pretty neat that the T-800 series could see in night vision, probably something that Kyle Reese should have mentioned!

You would think the T-800 would stay on pursuit. They make the thing seem so human like in the movie. Machines would never stop to break into a car or go to a hotel. They would just keep pursuing with anything on them that could lead them to their target right?
