Personally, I think that this idea is neater. I mean, an example is that it would merge *three* of our rules into two:

1. If the word is guessed, game over
2. If not, new letter given
3. If no new letter, game over
becomes
1. Give letters until it diverges
2. If no letter exists, game over

We already play with some localisms to adapt the existing game of Contact to the chatroom setting. I wouldn't really want to make it actually diverge from the rules of the original game Just Because.
