really feels like there should be a way shorter way to do ⍉↑⊃,¨/'ab'⍴⍨¨¨↓ (2 4⍴2 1 0 1 1 0 0 1). any ideas? (assuming the 2×n matrix as input)

@dzaima I'm confused as to what it does, but ↑⊃,¨/…¨¨↓ is probably replaceable ith ⍤-something.

@Adám given a 2×n matrix it, for each column, repeats 'a' 1st item times and 'b' 2nd item times
@Adám yeah, ⍤ popped in my mind, but as i've said, i fail to ever use it

why does a file with "hello" convert to a 6 byte encoded file?
yes, the input has no trailing newlines and is 5 bytes

@dzaima Because it by default appends a trailing newline, but this can safely be removed. I guess I could remove it too.

@dzaima Not the only issue GitHub has with that file. If you try to edit it, it shows a ⎕ucs 65279 before :Namespace.
