@Adám it's easier to find. Is it specially made that it only works with msys? Or why does it start the gui in cmd.exe?

@ktye So you really prefer the GUI, only you work in terminal, and it is convenient to start APL from there, leading to a (broken) terminal APL. It really doesn't work despite initial appearances. If you play with it a little it will soon crash. I suggest emailing support@ complaining that 1) calling dyalog.exe from a posix terminal under Windows starts something broken instead of the normal GUI or 2) Dyalog should have a terminal version under windows (but you'd need to justify that.)

@chrispsn kdb already was time-series and big. the interesting combination of words here is encryption+distributed. could it be AW and partner have decided to invest in secure multiparty computation? - that would be very very exciting
