Can't we just say we pronounce it differently? Something like: - Dr. Frankenstein... - "Fronkensteen." - You're putting me on. - No, it's pronounced "Fronkensteen." - Do you also say "Froaderick"? - No... "Frederick." - Well, why isn't it "Froaderick Fronkensteen"? - It isn't; it's "Frederick Fronkensteen." - You must be Igor. - No, it's pronounced "eye-gor." - But they told me it was "ee-gor." - Well, they were wrong then, weren't they?
@PauloCereda I've seen it so many times since then, but it's always a pleasure to see it again. A masterpiece of all times. In its genre, of course: it would be nonsense to compare it to, say, "Stagecoach" or "Sunset Boulevard" or "Singing in the Rain" (other movies that I could see ad infinitum).
@egreg Ah, what a nice list! I love all those movies. :-) I can't watch today's movies, most of them are basically a show of special effects, but without a single good line.

@PauloCereda I'm still goggling over the number of views that got! Sadly the only question I've seen on TeX.SX that I'm capable of answering had not one, but BOTH of the tools I use already posted.
