I was talking to a corp-mate last night and she mentioned that she used to go to fringe mining systems away from trade hubs and put up buy orders for Trit at much cheaper than the current prices (ie. 1,000,000 trit @ 4.0 ISK ea/ whereas Jita is around 5.07). She said she made a hefty profit becau...
I got a mannequin in the latest for putting clothes on it and so. Can you get another one? If so how? Because i tried to check out if you can get another one by asking Sable but i got nothing.
"Hi, we're the people who bought the foreclosed condo next door. We're going to be pounding on the walls all day long for the next 6 months, and we'll do it especially loudly right on the other side of your daughter's room when she's trying to sleep. P.S. - we're too cheap to pay for water, so we're going to tell all our contractors to use your outdoor water hose"
I have a really great desktop machine that I use for all sorts of games - i7 cpu 8gb ram 2gb GTX 660 graphics card. I have different users because I have small children and different settings for them compared to the adults. On all of the logins Minecraft works totally fine, but on one of these l...
Sometimes, to make boarding a ship easier, I'll send off a volley or two of burst lasers to knock out the medical bay or injure the crew before I teleport over to fight them.
When I do this, of course, it causes several points of damage to the enemy ship's hull.
Does it make any difference in t...
I just got the second floor to the museum in New Leaf and I hung a bunch of designs on the wall and a few dresses standing up. I went to the able sisters to get some more qr posters online. I came back and the ones I'd replaced in my designs (which I have saved with mabel but I assumed I wouldn...
@fbueckert The main reason for the price tag of a game is the time and resources it takes to develop and market, correct? If this is true, then selling more copies at a cheaper price leads to the same end total. However, if the price is cheaper and more people get it, then word of mouth spreads for that game and more people can be convinced to buy it. Sales only accelerate this process.
@DavidStarkey Humble Bundles, though, get 99% of people paying $1 or less. I don't see how that helps developers with actually getting money for their games.
It's fantastic for word of mouth and building a fanbase, don't get me wrong.
@fbueckert Imagine you sell 1000 copies through less known sources for $20 each ($20,000 profit). Now Humble Bundle has a much bigger base, so say 20,000 people buy the bundle for $1 so the get the Steam codes ($20,000 profit). Humble Bundle only lasts for a short while, so people like the game and convince their friends that for $1 they can get this awesome game (among others) and even more people get it.
@DavidStarkey I'm saying $1 total. Unless the buyer allocates all of it to the single dev (and thereby leaving all the rest in the cold), they'll be making 20 cents or less.
@fbueckert I remember reading about one developer in the Humble Bundle that barely broke even before it and then suddenly earned 10x and more of the previous income due to the Humble Bundle. I don't remember which one it was though. For relatively unknown games the vast increase in audience can certainly lead to significant profit
I tend to buy humble bundles for a bit more than the average price, but then I would probably never have bought most of those games for full price. But for a low price I'll buy stuff I'm not sure whether I'd like it
@OrigamiRobot 1. You don't have to download them 2. You don't have to activate them on Steam. You can give those keys to people that might want to play them
In my Max Payne 3 (for Xbox 360), my movement and camera controls are switched. In most other games the right stick is movement and the left stick is the camera, but not in mine. For mine, the left stick is movement and the right stick is the camera. What can I do to change that?
nothing is wrong, and I appreciate your answer, but unfortunaltely, I am getting banned for this post because of people do not appreciate I asked a completely legit question, and keep voting down on it that killing my rep. Its nothing deal with your answer, its great answer, but people don't like my question while no one tell why, or says why with the reason that is IMPOSSIBLE to fix. thanks! if you could use your rep to somehow tell those people to provide legit reason, otherwise, I have to delete it regardless the fact I think its great question and answer you provided. — Adam9 mins ago
@fbueckert I dislike his views on voting. Look at his profile.
> I honestly dislike people who votes down just because they know more than others.... Vote up for whoever does something Vote down for whoever is trying to been arrogant, copying others, slandering, cursing, being nasty, etc. Up for all whomever contributes :) Down for all whomever vote down others with the arrogance.
@fbueckert this has a lot more yard than what we wanted. We were looking at town homes but honestly, almost 200 per month HOA - we might as well just have a home with a yard
@StrixVaria Yeah, that'd be about right for the cheapest house here as well
A couple blocks away from the apartment I'll be moving into, there is apparently a $10.8 million home for sale.
looks like I'll be rubbin' elbows with the rich people... or at least getting dirty looks from them because my apartment complex probably brings down the value of their home
"Buying a house" here is actually buying an apartment. Stand alone houses with a yard are something I've resigned myself to never having in this country because holy crap, expensive.
My followers keep getting so close to dying and I only know how to heal myself. I've seen others heal their followers but I can't figure out how to heal mine.
How do you heal your follower in battle?
