Luckily, it sounds like it's just one of the 120mm fans on it that died and not the actual cooler.

@BenBrocka Well, you've got to realize that the pump and radiator are the same unit and literally have fans bolted onto both sides of it.

Now, I did remove one of the fans last night (the dead one), but it turns out that its power cable takes a crazy trip around the back of the case.

When I say crazy, I tried tracing it around... as far as I can tell, it goes around the entire back of the board, back around to the front under the Asus thermal armor stuff to come back up next to the CPU and plug in to the other fan connector there. I do know that the outer fan isn't spinning, which is an issue. Particularly since that cord disappears when it goes from the back to the front of the case. And as soon as that fan stopped working, the diagnostics report the CPU fan as not spinning.
