Hi @Frank, I'm trying to create some new effects for a friend on mine that streams on Twitch. Not sure exactly what's involved so I've been struggling to find someone I can hire to do the job. Basically its converting numbers in an automatically updating text file into dynamic graphics (bars, meters etc)

Q: Minecraft launcher continuously loading

When I load up the Minecraft launcher, where the play button would be it says 'Loading' and does not change. I have waited a whole hour, hoping it was taking a while to load in, to no avail. This also includes the button which says 'Switch User' that is slightly whitened and is un-clickable too....

@Wipqozn I know. What helps tremendously, though, is playing on an emulator. The speed-up function saves so much time.

@5pike hm, I'll keep that in mind. I'll likely play it on PS3 via PSN, but an emulator would offer some advantages.

@Wipqozn Yeah. Save-states are a nice thing, but the speed-up is really what makes it so good. Especially in RPGs with random encounters. You can just speed up the whole pre-encounter fanfare and get right into the fight. Also nice to skip lengthy cutscenes like summons.
