Q: Is there a reason to assign lvl 2 drones ro common metals?

I've leveled up my drones in Orion Vault: A Loan in the Verse and they can now be assigned to mine for Uncommon metals, which sell for twice as much. Is there a reason for me to keep any on Common?

Which wins if they're conflicting?

If you used Silumgar on something that was already enchanted with Mind COntrol, it would go back to whoever played Mind Control when Silumgar dies.

I talked to a recruiter at a job fair, and I knew it was promising.

If you mind Control-ed a creature that had been taken with Silumgar and the Mind control was destroyed, I'm not 100% sure.

So "former controller" is never a thing that's relevant. In the example you gave, the fact that it's the "former controller" is circumstantial; the real reason it's going back to that player is the Mind Control on it.

There are multiple control changing effects. The newest one takes precedence. If one ends, the other is then applied.

Q: Why should I keep scanning the area?

If the game goes a while without clicking the "Scan Area" button, the UI changes colors and the area changes state (i.e. "safe" became "relaxed"). What are the different levels an area can become? Does anything happen on those other levels?

There were 82 players so it was 7 rounds. Then it cut to Top 8

@Lazers Too lazy to answer your specific questions, but if it's not "safe", then random events can happen that destroy mining drone things or resources.

Also your scanner can break, forcing you to leave the "safe" zone.

I had just assumed the slightly shotty gimballing was a balance mechanism

If they stop sucking enough, I might go to 2x C2 MC, 2x C1 MC, and 2x C1 gimbal beams

That would be pretty much my choice in loadout.

No need to have more than 2 beams, really

I might switch out two of those multi-cannons for cannons.

100 bad C1 is only 33% effective against large ships

And given that Java uses UTF-16 internally for Strings (and always has), I'd be surprised if it didn't understand the BOM symbol.

Actually, what BOM are you trying to use? From what I can tell, BOM is \uFEFF (BE) or \uFFFE (LE) for UTF-16

seems to support that

Otherwise, javac barfs when it sees a BOM.

I've been wondering this for awhile because it makes no sense to me. Yes I know the only legendary creatures unless stated otherwise thing but really planeswalkers are in their own way legendary creature. They're quite rare unless you buy them outright or trade and I've personally never found one...
