@Powerlord msdn versions of windows aren't meant for playing games, but there are some games that only work on windows 98, it's a shame they dont want you using it for games and that they removed it, since that was once the only way to get windows 98 for a while, what can we do now

My mom still uses Quicken 2000 for her finances. Mom and Dad tried to upgrade in 2009ish, but Dad said Quicken 2009 or whatever wouldn't import the old version's format.

Incidentally, don't buy products from companies that do yearly releases because they do crap like that.

("you're more than two versions out of date, so you need to buy every version in between and upgrade one by one!")

We need to replace the hard drive on the computer at home. The salesman convinced us that we should get, instead of a 500 GB drive, a RAID 0 of 2 250 GB drives. Yep.

And one of the drives is allegedly failing

At some point I should get her a new computer, but that's neither here nor there. The last one was 5 years our of date when she got it as it is.

Q: Does Hearthstone really not keep cloud saves?

So I'm signing in to my Battle.net account from a new computer, to play me a game of Hearthstone. But it takes me straight to the tutorial? Doesn't that seem... weird?

it's not ideal though, because I dont think they can genuinely slow it down because of the way they implement the virtualisation, they aren't emulating the cpu, they are actually using it. i'm quite sure that emulators for other types of machine don't have this problem, i have an amiga emulator and it allows you to select the clock speed you want, because it is emulating the hardware completely
