@GraceNote I don't think this is a good definition for it. There is no way to enact a strategy for a single player, nor can you restart the game or, honestly, impact the game much at all individually. Almost everything you can do with a normal game, you can't do with TPP.

No, the game does not increase game-wise. It does, however, get more difficult. This is not because the game itself is getting more difficult, but because the longer you play, the higher the probability that you will make a mistake. This is called difficulty through duration.
