The key here is to acknowledge the difference between "expert knowledge" and "incidental knowledge". "Expert knowledge", here on Arqade, is about playing video games. It's primarily about the actual gameplay but also deals with some things like getting things to run or terminology of the system...

I have a friend who likes to watch our crew play Left 4 Dead 2, even though she is overwhelmed by the game itself. Presuming I local host the server, is there a way to set it up so people can join in designated spectator slots? SourceTV does not appear to work on locally hosted servers.

You know, I've noticed something about mobile chat lately. It doesn't try to zoom in every time I select the text box anymore, which is a major improvement.

Sure, taking a few seconds to be respectful toward someone about something they care about doesn't sound hard. But if you talk to hundreds of people every day and they all start expecting that same consideration, it could potentially add up to MINUTES wasted. And for WHAT?
