Claptrap's restores all health, which is helpful.

And he's got skills to gain health on kill at the cost of shields, which regenerate anyway.

Yeah, that's what I did. If I needed to nope out of something, I'd pop invisibility and nope.

Claptrap's has a chance to give you an amount of time of invisibility that doesn't care if you're dealing damage, which is kind of cool. I think it tends to choose that if low health or shields depleted or something.

But really, I think the most convenient thing about Claptrap for me is he's a robot, and as such doesn't need to breathe. So worrying about suffocation is beyond a non-issue.
