Dub quality does tend to be hit or miss though, but it has gotten better over the years. Although I don't watch nearly as much anime as I used.

For the record, I prefer dub, even if it's inferior to the original (which they almost always will be), because subtitles are incredibly distracting

The problem is, no matter how bad the dub is, all I can hear when watching the subtitled version is my own voice reading out the lines
