Occasionally I find fairly well hidden "Strange Planks". What are these used for? I haven't found anywhere they're tracked, or anything to do with them. I thought maybe I could repair broken bridges, but I don't know how.

@BenBrocka Seems that way. No EA Steam releases since WARP in 2012. When ME3, DS3, and BF3 released, Origin didn't do achievements (the games did) so it is safe to assume someone went back and added that in. This opens the prospect for other games 2012-present to have internal achievements connected. It seems something like an afternoon task for an intern/co-op to call that library in the function(s) where they pop achievements unless Origin achievements were written incompetently.

@skovacs1 Even EA doesn't seem to know what they're doing with "origin points" so I'm not surprised

@BenBrocka Doing with? Isn't it a direct correlation to gamerscore? Numbers representing achievements theoretically balanced against difficulty all in the name of vanity? To my knowledge, such things were never meant to have anything done with them - they just sit there, right?

That said maybe the guy is in Australia so their SP campaign would actually be about 5 hours

Even still. This person clearly doesn't realize how long it takes to make a game like GTA V.

You know, literal days worth of voice acting, thousands of quests. And that's just the main thing. Easy!

Especially with a cover button that is mapped to 20 other context sensitive functions so you're just basically always stuck on cover

Jeff wrote a blog on the very subject. It's constantly in flux, depending on what you use it for. I could have a 3rpm hdd, but if I used only webapps in lynx, I probably wouldn't mind too much.

@RedRiderX I don't use fbueckert's handle in speech so it has never come up. I would give it a nick like F-Bomb or FrankyB or some ludicrousness straight out of modern culture. F-Bucket's pretty good too.
