@iKlsR One thing to note is that some factories require materials to produce their own items. So you can get several loops going.

Bring coal to a smelting plant, it makes...steel? Bring that somewhere else, and it gets used to make other stuff.

You can get some rather long production chains going, each of them supporting each other, and all of them making you money.
