5:00 PM
I still think it can have a home on this site. Feel free to disagree.

I will exercise that right thoroughly.

Sometimes I feel like I should undelete and reopen all game-rec questions so that we have matters of consequence to argue about. :P
although the resulting discussion would be pretty boring.

@badp Questions on the site should be answerable by playing the game.

@OrigamiRobot That's an even narrower view on the site (and wider in the wrong places).

What wrong places?

5:05 PM
Once you play a game you can identify it, or see the credits list to see who composed what, or recommend it to others, or speculate about it and its sequels, or rant about it, or...

I didn't say every question that is answerable by playing the game is on topic.
If A implies B, B doesn't always imply A.

At any rate, the question we're arguing about can be answered by playing the game.
99% confidence.

Can it?

It must be in the credits.

Watching the credits is not playing the game.

5:07 PM
Tsk.
You just have to play the game until you find the answer you seek.

That's the most backwards things I've ever read.

Use of external aids may be useful, like spreadsheets (to make graphs) or google (to look up things on artists' pages)

What does that have to do with my position?

Basically that answering this question and doing SCIENCE on games aren't substantially different

Yes they are.

5:10 PM
Making spreadsheets on how far minecarts go uphill is not playing the game

You can play the game to get the data.

You can play the game to watch the credits and get the data from there.

4 mins ago, by OrigamiRobot
Watching the credits is not playing the game.

Neither is Excel.

You don't need Excel to answer the minecart question.
It's just useful.

5:12 PM
You don't need to watch the credits to answer the question.
It's just useful.

@badp Where else in the game is the answer?

@OrigamiRobot That's quite the silly retort. I literally don't know how to answer to that.

It's not silly, it's your entire argument.

It's not my entire argument

You are arguing that the question can be answered by playing the game, yet you don't have to watch the credits.

5:14 PM
My argument is that the question is okay because the question is an objectively answerable question about a game.

So where is it?
4 mins ago, by badp
You can play the game to watch the credits and get the data from there.

@OrigamiRobot Oh, have you heard about Google? Youtube? IMDB?

3 mins ago, by badp
You don't need to watch the credits to answer the question.
@badp How are those playing the game?

You don't have to play the game to answer this question
just like in many other cases

You can't play the game to get the answer.

5:16 PM
Instead of acquiring data from Minecarts from a game, you can just watch somebody else's games

@badp Yes, someone playing the game

@OrigamiRobot not by your arbitrarily restrictive definition of "playing the game"
which I've never made mine

You're arguing against my position here.
If you're doing that by creating a different position and arguing against that, I don't see the need to continue.

I could pretty safely say the same, given that our different definition of "play the game" seems to be the gimmick you're using to call yourself victorious by default
My argument isn't "you're wrong."

What are you even talking about.
I am saying "This is how I see it"
And I'm laying out my criteria.
Who am I calling myself victorious against?
myself?

5:21 PM
Now you've lost me.
Your argument as I understand it. "It's a question about the song, it can't be answered by "playing the game" where by "playing the game" I mean "not watching the credits.""

I'm not sure you were ever where you thought you were.

@BenBrocka The bullets aren't ponies.

Someone found that for me a long time ago, I even let's played an early (not very good) version

@badp No, my opinion is that playing the game a question is about should give someone the information they need to answer a question. I am not saying that's site policy or anything of the sort.
And then I further clarified that I don't think watching the credits is playing the game.

5:25 PM
So «it can't be answered by "playing the game" where by "playing the game" I mean "not watching the credits."»
And «it's a question about the song» is me quoting you from a while ago. So I don't think I'm misrepresenting your opinion.

You're not misrepresenting my opinion, you're misrepresenting the reason I'm giving it.

You're giving it, uh, because you believe the question should be closed. When you linked to it it already had one vote close and a -2 score.
You expressed great surprise when similar questions were reopened or not ever closed to begin with.

You seem to think I started with the question and then came up with why I think it should be closed.

@OrigamiRobot The credits part does seem pretty arbitrary.

That is quite the opposite of the case.

5:31 PM
The credits roll is a glorified cutscene you can skip. We have many questions about cutscenes, like many tagged

What do the credits tell you about the story?

Typically not much, although sometimes they're accompanied by pics. They tell you information about the game, though.

So I disagree 100% that they are like cutscenes.

"So" you're making up reasons why I'm wrong as you go. :P

I'm done here.

5:34 PM
Unless I misread that and you meant "cutscenes are only cutscenes if they tell you info about the story" which again seems peculiar to me. Many cutscenes say very little about the plot.
like, uh, every "Link kneels down the chest to grab 20 rupees" cutscene ever.
It's hard to argue that they aren't, at least technically, cutscenes. They take control away from you to show you something. Like Handsome Jack killing a person with one revolver shot, or a bridge collapsing, or your grabbing the big key, or the list of people who made the game.
They're still part of the bundle of content and information and experiences that's called a "game."

Got my Zerg T-Shirt today! :)
Just want to share this old tweet with you all
has normal size feets and is very drunks

user15026
5:50 PM
@blem Yay shirt, and Yay normal size feels?

user15026
... Feets..

@AshleyNunn I was drunks

user15026
@blem hahaha yep

I'm not sure I've ever been drunk enough to share the particulars of my foot size on twitter

user15026
@benbrocka for a lady I have big feet. Finding dress shoes that I don't hate is always a nightmare.

5:52 PM
I am happily just on the border of what shoe stores will carry (12s)

user15026
I am size 11,and most stores stop at 10 or assume that I only want crazy high heels or old lady shoes.

@AshleyNunn Just wear toe shoes to fancy events.

user15026
@origami like ballet shoes, or those weird shoes that look like feet?

user image
5

@AshleyNunn The latter.

user15026
5:55 PM
@wipqozn that is likely exactly how it would go, yes.

@AshleyNunn Yeah, I saw that comment when I was stealing this from your wall.

user15026
@wipqozn I wondered if you stole from me, you crazy turtle

user15026
@origami I never can decide if those shoes would be comfy or awkward

user15026
Oh Yay someone called the cops on my neighbours again

Okay, well I need to head to the store. Making soup for supper, so I need to buy stuff for soup.

user15026
5:57 PM
What sort of soup?

@AshleyNunn Comfy. Ask @Fluttershy and @SaintWacko.

Chicken Vegetable.

@AshleyNunn It's true!

user15026
@origami yeah, someone I know is also trying to convince me they are amazing, he wears them all the time

I have the house to myself this weekend, tha tis my mother isn't around, so I can make it super spicy.

user15026
5:58 PM
I just can't get over how odd they look

My mother hates spicy things, so when I make food I can never make it spicy.

user15026
@wipqozn Yay spicy soup!

@AshleyNunn They're just like being barefoot.

It's going to eb great. I normally need to ate some spicy stuff in my bowl when I eat, which is nice and all, but it's sooo much better when you cook the soup with the spices in it.

I like spices that aren't spicy.

user15026
5:59 PM
@origami that is intriguing. I always wonder though if they still like protect my feet well

user15026
Also, if they come in my size

@AshleyNunn They have rubber soles.

user15026
Oh, okay, that's good to know

@OrigamiRobot Coward.

@AshleyNunn Very likely.

user15026
6:01 PM
Where does one get these magical shoes?

@Wipqozn I am a giant baby when it comes to spicy things. Bell peppers are too hot for me.

user15026
@origami holy crap, really? They're more sweet than hot

@AshleyNunn I said "giant baby"

10 secs ago, by OrigamiRobot
@AshleyNunn I said "giant baby"

6:03 PM
STOP DISTRACTING ME PEOPLE I NEED TO LEAVE
YOU'RE JUST SO WONDERFUL
I'M LEAVING NOW BYE

user15026
@origami they don't have lady shoes left

@OrigamiRobot errrr...bell peppers cannot possibly be spicy, they do not have capsaicin

user15026
@wipqozn I will stop being wonderful just for you

@BenBrocka They can be if you're me.

user15026
@benbrocka I didn't think they did.

user15026
6:04 PM
@origami might be a psychological thing? Idk

Note to self, slip Habaneros in @OrigamiRobot's food

@BenBrocka Yeah, bell pepper is around zero on the Scoville scale

@BenBrocka Onions are too hot for me at times.

Are onions technically spicy? they pair well with spice but I'm not sure they're technically "spicy" alone

They are to me.

6:12 PM
Wee! Italian Sausage smokie and chicken poutine for lunch.
I am full and well on my way into a food coma.

user15026
@origami I am going to have to measure my feet later.
2

@BenBrocka They feel spicy, but the action isn't caused by capsaicin

user15026
@fbueckert that sounds delicious.

@AshleyNunn 'twas, indeed.
I even have enough poutine left over to munch on until I go home.

user15026
I had a decent lunch but it was more the company than the food that made it awesome.

6:14 PM
Boo. Polygon only gave Pandora's Tower a 5.5.

@AshleyNunn You won't regret it.

This morning was great... headache at 4:30am that took 4 Ibuprofen to get rid of, and then I hit alarm off instead of snooze on my clock.
Ended up 2 hours late for work.

user15026
@powerlord oh yuck that's terrible

user15026
...why is measuring my feet starred you people are weird

6:19 PM
I should note I don't get up for work at 4:30am... I just realized it sounded like I did.
Just woke up for no reason at 4:30am

@BenBrocka Wow, that spelling and puncuation is horribad.

@AshleyNunn Make any progress in Radiant Historia?

user15026
@benbrocka wow that is terrible

user15026
@powerlord some. Trying to figure out what I need to do to get past this area I am in, and I know I have to swap times, but it is still kinda confusing but I know I will figure it out

Also, in Historia, make sure you wander around towns in every chapter as new sidequests become available.

6:21 PM
I have to assume that's why it's gained all of ten GBP in 4 days
yesterday it was 0

@AshleyNunn You'll know when you absolutely have to switch times, as the two people from Historia show up and comment on it.

user15026
Yeah, that's how I know I need to switch but I don't know quite what to do once I do switch.

> Why should I back this?
Because your name will be always with the company no matter what town city or country i bring a shop to, for A small £10 pledge on the thank you without your help this would not be possible wall

user15026
But I was super tired when I poked at it last so I suspect looking at it later, after my midterm today, I will figure it out.

Only £10 to immortalize your name in a business that's never heard of you!

user15026
6:24 PM
@fbueckert you mean you aren't going to jump all over that?

Wow, the FAQ for this kickstarter is so bad.
@AshleyNunn Heck no. There's no real thought behind it other than, "I wanna make a game business!"
Even I've given it more thought than that.
> gold* A plaque above a gaming booth and with engraved name, location, favorite game, console, charecter , online id and this will also be added to every shop that ever opens in the future, so your name will be forever etched in the companys history
So now you can be stalked by anyone since you just blew a ton of cash for the privilege!
The guy is incredibly optimistic that his company will be so successful that it will be nationwide within 3 years.
I have a friend who ran a LAN cafe for a few years. The prices he's talking about are way too cheap to make ANY money at all.

user15026
If he even gets more than a hundred bucks I will be shocked

Fun fact: My friend's LAN cafe was more for PC than anything else, and it was essentially pay by the hour.
He had some decent deals for monthly passes and whatnot.
He had two year passes, with unlimited time for a solid year. $356. Best purchase I ever made.

user15026
Yeah, wow, this guy has no idea what he is doing.

He lost SO much money on that pass for me, even with me just being there once a week.
And his prices were pretty reasonable; something like $3/hour or so.

6:34 PM
So just curious @kalina how did your Steam box experiment turn out?

@BenBrocka Don't you want to compete for a Thank you nanny hazel trophy?

I love people who expect us to troubleshoot a wall of error, without even bothering to read it themselves.
And by love, I mean I want to stab them with a rusty fork.
But I guess I'll content myself with just a downvote for zero effort.

My dog just caught and killed a bird. =(

@AshleyNunn I'd appreciate it.

@Fluttershy Was it the off-tune one?
Also, I thought you had a rabbit, not a dog.

6:47 PM
@Fluttershy I hate birds

@Powerlord I haven't had a rabbit since I was like 17. =P

@OrigamiRobot Wait, you're @Fluttershy's dog?
5

Well that took an interesting turn. o_o

@AshleyNunn Get them. Get them get them get them

On the internet nobody knows you're a dog made of paper with a robot for brains.

6:53 PM
I'm thinking my productivity today is basically toast.

Q: Playing coop with friends

newuserI am thinking about purchasing Dark Souls to play with friends (primarily playing together and not alone). I have read that a soapstone is needed to actually play co-op. How long into the game can I get this? Also, is it possible to play the entire campaign in co-op with a friend? If you join...

0
Q: How much of the content comes with the original game purchase

newuserI am skeptical about getting Defiance, since I have heard that the a lot of content in the game has to be purchased as cash shop or DLC. Can the game be enjoyed without spending more money on the game?

Q: Where can I get the Final Fantasy XIV client?

Patrick ZurekI'd like to give Final Fantasy XIV another shot. I purchased the game when it first came out, but I don't have the install disk anymore. Where can I download the client? Googling, and searching the FF XIV forums turn up nothing.

lol, Ben Kuchera may be slowly descending into madness. Why just watch movies when you can virtual reality yourself an empty theater?

@badp Why feel like you're in the movie when you can feel like you're in the movie theater?
I can see the future now. Virtuality will let you feel like you're really playing a game in your bedroom when you're actually playing in the living room
3
This is big, people

@BenBrocka Like, really big.
Forget being in a game, imagine actually playing a game.

You can emulate all the thrills of playing games on the toilet in the bus stop without leaving your couch

7:07 PM
Your bus stops have toilets?

@badp We have bus shacks, and they're gross enough without including human waste.

@fbueckert I can now see it. Gamer Simulator 2013
Play yourself playing Call of Duty. Click on the mouse. Tap on the keyboard. Talk shit on the mike. Kick the computer. Smash the screen. Pour soda on the fans.

@badp World of World of Warcraft!

@Powerlord but in glorious VR!
(↑ World of World of Warcraft)

I think I made a mistake. I killed the first merchant in Dark Souls. >_>

7:15 PM
That reminds me of when I first played Fallout New Vegas and accidentally murdered everyone in the first town
Accidentally stole their stuff too
The buttons are so close together

@BenBrocka I didn't accidentally kill him. I knew what I was doing. But my stats aren't high enough to actually use the weapon I got from him. x_x

@BenBrocka Is he the one with the katana type sword?

bah. In my days, shopkeepers were actually super deadly guys that were best left happy and unscathed.
2

@badp Newgrounds has a Newgrounds simulator that lets you play as a person posting to Newgrounds/making flash games

@BenBrocka like Game Dev Tycoon but more micromanaging and awful commentary?

7:18 PM
@badp Don't get me started on roguelike shopkeepers.

how deep can you recurse?

They get REALLY irked if you steal something.

Just use the thing you're stealing to kill them...
or don't steal it yet

@fbueckert o rly

@badp ADOM's shopkeepers were crazy murderers.

7:20 PM
I remember accidentally stealing something in Chocobo's Dungeon and then death himself chases you
Also the shop keeper also happens to be death himself

@fbueckert I'm more familiar with wand of death wielding shopkeepers

@badp Them, too.

@badp that sounds super convenient... I wish that was more common

You should definitely steal from the shopkeeper in Link's Awakening.
@THIEF It was totally worth it, wasn't it?

@badp ADOM shopkeepers can throw coins at you for 40+ damage.
Seeing as coins come in inordinately large numbers...

7:22 PM
@GraceNote ouch.

@GraceNote I remember making so much cash at the casinos that when I finally picked up my winning, they crushed me to death.

In Link's Awakening, everyone calls you THIEF from that point on and the shopkeeper will electrocute you if you ever come in again.
Oh, and the game is incompletable if you stole anything other than the bow.

@badp If you play as a merchant yourself, you actually can throw money for high damage that scales with your level, too. It's pretty fun, and a lot safer than a lot of things. You won't be as strong as the battle-hardened dungeon shopkeepers, but you still do nice damage.

@Powerlord I think you can come back a second time and you won't get shot.

@badp Yeah, you can. But you'll still be named THIEF.

7:25 PM
@GraceNote I'd forgot Merchant was a playable class in ADOM.

@GraceNote To be fair, ADOM was pretty easy to get crazy strong in.
I remember making a Wizard that walked into an Ogre army, and walked out unscathed.

Java changed its numbering scheme

And killed everybody with a sword, not magic.

was it a magic sword?

Versions that add new features will also be an update multiple of 20.

7:26 PM
@Powerlord Is it now based on the number of hitlers equivalents their software has?

With the next version being Java 7 update 40

@murgatroid99 The merchant in Dark Souls?

@Sconibulus I'm pretty sure it was an artifact sword.

> The next Limited Update for JDK 7 will be numbered 7u40, and the next 3 CPUs after that will be numbered 7u45, 7u51, and 7u55. The next release will be a Limited Update 7u60, followed by CPUs 7u65, 7u71, and 7u75.

@Powerlord Oooooh, the good ole BASIC numbering scheme

7:27 PM
I'm trying to find out if this was posted on April 1 and I just missed it.

Leaving spare numbers should you need to insert instructions in between lines

> Last Updated May 6, 2013

@fbueckert And then you get confused, mind blasted, roasted, corrupted, and clawshredded by an Ancient Chaos Wyrm. In one turn.

@GraceNote In the event that happened, I had a backup save ready to go.

@fbueckert Oh.

7:30 PM
@GraceNote Yeah, I savescummed lots. I found it much more fun.

I did a lot of that in ADOM, too. Mostly because it was my first roguelike. As such I don't count myself as having actually cleared the game proper yet.

Still, it was fun trying to read a spellbook of Wish.

I actually got really far with this 1 STR Priestess though.

Even with savescumming, I never finished the game.

I finished the game with a Halfling Merchant savescum run.
1 STR was an amusing challenge because I still actually beat up most things. But if you kick a wall you take 8 digits of damage. Also I once spent 133 turns trapped and helpless in a web.

7:32 PM
Oh, man. So many awesome memories of that game.
Buying out the casino shop multiple times was so much fun.

The first time I saw how much negative HP I was at, it was quite amusing.

@GraceNote ...as in, hundred million damage?

@badp I can't remember the exact numbers. Only that it was quite absurd. Possibly even randomly generated. You "break your leg" kicking the wall and instantly die for more pain than anything else can do, apparently.

@GraceNote I remember doing that to cast Wish. Went through every single point of power, and dug into health. Killed myself trying to cast it, I think.
I remember starving to death, trying to read the spellbook, to learn the spell.

@fbueckert Wish should only bring you to 5 digit damage though.

7:36 PM
@GraceNote True. Not as amusing as dying by spontaneous simultaneous total bone shattering, but amusing nontheless.

Q: Why won't my dwarfs take the wood to the wood stock pile?

JacobI told my dwarfs to chop down some trees, but after chopping them down they just left the wood there. I made a wood stockpile but for some reason they just won't take the wood to it.

damage caps are lame

Or walking through the Tower of Flame. You had to be careful you didn't bring anything super flammable with you.

I have no explanation other than me being bored.

7:58 PM
@fbueckert Aye
@BenBrocka Yes they are. Yes they are.
Also, I've upped my miss rate with Uni to 2000 per hour, so I can complete this challenge soon once I've actually got spare time to run it.

@GraceNote I'm just farming pigments. I have half of Vert's thing made and I can make Plutia's whenever I have purple pigments
looks like the reactor cores for Noire's will be a paini n the ass. No better way to get them than farming the same risky foe a billion times?

Damage caps are largely why I disliked FFXII.
@BenBrocka It only took me 40 or so runs with Uni solo to get enough for her complete outfit. Hers was the first one I did.
When I think of damage caps, I compare Wild ARMs 3 and FFXII a lot. They both have damage caps. Difference is, Wild ARMs 3 has a damage cap equal to the highest HP value of any opponent in the game. So it effectively has no damage cap.

@GraceNote at that point it's more of a "please don't overflow our int" than a damage cap

But when you're up against the enemy who has this much HP, it's impossible for you to deal that much damage, because nothing in your available arsenal comes close to that much damage on any enemy.
Even with max stats you can't hit it, which is precisely the right kind of design. The limitation is that you can inflict as much damage as you're truly capable of, you just need to do that much more damage.

user15026
@saintwacko @fluttershy if I get these shoes, are they comfortable enough to wear all the time in whatever weather? I need to replace my cheap Walmart runners anyhow, they are falling apart

8:07 PM
@AshleyNunn I wear mine in any weather, but I also don't have Canada cold. >_>

@AshleyNunn They're not terribly comfortable when it's raining, unless you can take your shoes off wherever you're going, because they don't have any way to keep water out

In FF XII, you hit the damage cap pretty much at the half-max level point. And you never can get stronger. And you face a boss with 8.9 million HP, and literally it means you cannot kill him in fewer than 893 attacks.
You have to sit in a battle for 3 people to make 893 attacks.

@GraceNote On the plus side, you can just program all of them and just watch the fight.

And do not under any circumstances walk in wild grass with them. The soles of the shoes are not thick enough to prevent being stuck with burrs

@fbueckert Except then he does things that you can't completely program for, and so you do have to stick around.

8:09 PM
@GraceNote I never played XII that far.

In this scenario, it's not like my stats even let me deal more than 5 digits of damage per attack anyway. So the cap makes an already absurdly long fight that much longer.

@GraceNote what is "cpu resistance" anyway? More defense in HDD?

@RedRiderX that is perfect.

@PrivatePansy turned out fine... technically, I just dislike using a gamepad to play games so it's kinda just sat in the corner doing nothing

@GraceNote I never thought I'd read "I've upped my miss rate" as something positive
@GraceNote wait, what?
Who thought that'd be fun?

8:14 PM
Squeenix

and of course you don't get to know just how many hitpoints are left as you chip away, I suppose?

@BenBrocka Defense against CPU types.
@badp You have gigantic lifebar made up of 50 lifebars.

@GraceNote oh, bleh

@GraceNote oh god. I have to watch a Youtube video of this.

I assume this is yiazamat or whatever?

8:15 PM
@BenBrocka Yiazmat has 50 million HP.

...

@GraceNote So 5000 attacks required.

or more

Bloody hell, that sounds like a long fight.

Arbitrarily and stupidly long.

8:16 PM
I think it's like 2 hours if you do it extremely well

Just a second, I think my jaw just dropped down a couple flights of stairs

user15026
@saintwacko my shoes now don't either so that's okay.

one hour I guess

@fluttershy oh, when it is Canada cold, I wear snow boots.

user15026
I am seriously tempted by these. Anyone had success ordering them online?

8:18 PM
@BenBrocka At least it isn't turn based.

Yiazmat has a weakness to darkness and there's a high combo-rate dark weapon (which means you can make multiple attacks at once, so chips away at 5000 attacks faster), so it helps a bit in that department.
But this still assumes everything goes according to plan.

@badp though it's probably be less micromanagy if it were

I was figuring a more traditional menu based system
Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Attack. Yiazmat. Heal all.

that;s basically how FF12's combat system works
there's still menus
it's like all the bad things of turn based menu and none of the good things about action RPGs
But I quit pretty early, as I was renting and saw no reason to keep it

I assume that video is using active menu time?

8:22 PM
@BenBrocka I guess this is a way to make people not rent stuff.

alright we gonna play a game on the count of three we're all gonna post a picture of your best friendz evaaa k ready let's do this shiz
Tiny Tina announcement incoming?

Too bad the video's 240p and the lifebars are almost impossible to see
Ah, so you have some kind of "one million hitpoints" bar and a "total health" bar.

yeah, 240p is fail

Like three solid minutes of prep at the beginning.

glad I can finally record crazy quality

8:24 PM
@GraceNote If you mean he can move around while using the menu, then yes.

I can't even see what's attacking him.

The video quality was fine at the start.

@badp Yeah. There's two settings, one version has it that when you open the menu to do special actions that all activity in the game is paused while you browse. Active menu time means that time still passes, so you can still move, enemies can still act, etc.

the more movement the more compression required

@GraceNote heh, that's how I assumed it'd work in Chrono Trigger

8:26 PM
@badp You have two settings there, as well, if I'm not mistaken.

She's going to Mongolia

turns out the wait menu style in CT still has time passing while you browse in the menu until all of your chars are ready

Oh, haha.

only then does it stop

8:27 PM
@badp there's a wait option

user20683
wherein it might actually compete with Canada for the sheer "Hell hath frozen over".

@BenBrocka that was with the wait option on.

In Wait time should stop once you enter a menu

Speaking of Final Fantasy, I'm interested in the HD remakes of X and X-2.

if you just sit it at the top level menu I think it still continues counting

8:28 PM
@BenBrocka I'm 99.99999% sure that's what I had set.
I just can't be 100% sure because I've lost my save files.

@GraceNote I heard you mention a "candidate ring", is there a plan for that somewhere?
I have like everything except that

@BenBrocka I think it was in the PS dimension?

huh, must have missed it, I'll look
don't see any blue cubes I missed

I guess just crawl each hidden dungeon until you find it.

bleh

8:39 PM
@AshleyNunn I have not, but you can find a pretty handy sizing guide here.

@GraceNote is the thing that gives you SP/EX gauge every turn useful?
