Q: What is different about the different races?

A fairly basic question about Starbound - There are currently six playable races. Cosmetically, they are quite varied - Basic humans, Fishpeople, Robots, Bird people, Plant people, and Caveman-esque people. Is there any difference, gameplay-wise, to playing one race over another?

I've done a bit of looking on wikis and the best I can find is that crops don't grow on all types of dirt, but I haven't been able to find any kind of dirt that can grow crops. I want my Glitch to be a vegetarian but I keep starving to death.

Q: I've found a portal in a private space, should I report it?

I've located a portal inside the courtyard of a private condo building. It's far away from the public areas that it cannot be reached by the public. Is there a mechanism for reporting this problem?

How do you play Recon? I don't think I'm terrible great at the sniping part so I end up using DMRs and being more of a scout/mid-range marksman.

I'm good at being accurate, but I kinda suck at sniping.

@Yuki I look through the scope and spot people or use my MAV to scout the map

I only shoot when given a good opportunity, or when enemy gets too close

Q: is there a world border mod for vanilla minecraft server?

I was hoping to have a pure vanilla server but the size of the world is causing huge memory usage when only a few players are on the server. So I was wondering if there was a border mod for the vanilla version of mine craft?

@3ventic I find it easier to use the binocs to spot people since it has what seems to be heat detection.

Easier to spot the moving white dots.
