Playing Terraria, I was trying to fight the Destroyer. Doing it on a Blood Moon night was probably a bad idea, but I had prepared an arena, so I thought it won't be a problem.

I died when the dang thing only had around 10k health left. Was playing medium core, so all my items dropped. No big deal, just go back and grab them. Unfortunately my house was already infested with wreaths, so many that I can't even leave spawn without dying.

Then a clown popped around and dropped a few bombs, and blew out so many blocks that everything I dropped despawned.

(if your counterargument is that it's trivial to re-write wget in Powershell, I'll reject it by saying that it's so simple a decent Powershell distribution should ship with it.)

(Also wget has about a hundred flags that you don't get from the recipe on the internet.)
