@FaheemMitha Well, one of the points of a cloud based system is that it's not local, hence one doesn't install it. It's a simple misunderstanding that comes from not knowing what a cloud (in computer terms) is, or it's an omission of the word "own" (as in "ownCloud"). The net effect is a humorous question akin to "How do I install the Internet?".

if you omit all the intranets, the residue is the cloud.

@StephenKitt Yeah they weren't exactly identical so it may just be that they copied the functionality. I just associate the two because if you can use one you can easily familiarize yourself with the other
