Q: How can I improve this question?

ArunabhThis question is closed as needing details of clarity. I am waiting for a satisfactory edit to reopen this question. How to get this re-opened? I have asked this question on January 10 when the Code Golf site is the Today's Featured Site. Can you suggest any edit that will reopen the question?

@lyxal and anyone else: do you guys know what the procedure is when you have a software tool and you want people to ask questions about it on Stack Overflow rather than in your tool's Discord server or GitHub issues?
Specifically, I'm asking for this tool called Nushell that I contribute to. There's already a [nushell] tag on SO with a few questions, but most people don't seem to know they can ask questions there
We were planning on linking to StackOverflow in the Discord server's guidelines and on the Nushell website in case people had questions. We would also link to the SO guidelines and encourage people to follow those

The advantage of answering here over in discord is stack overflow is searchable

@user I think that would probably be fine, just keep in mind this
and this

@mousetail'he-him' Yup that's one of the reasons we want to move here
@noodleperson fwiw this isn't a paid product or something it's just an open-source tool (a shell)
And yeah SO wouldn't be the only support, we'd also refer people to the Discord/GitHub
19:32
@user I gathered, but still something to consider when wording your referral to SO

@user if the tag already exists, then just start asking questions
On the SO side, as long as you're asking programming questions that fit SO guidelines you're good to go
E.g there's even an 05ab1e tag
When referring people, it'd be a good idea to mention the quality guidelines of SO
