Snake is pretty simple, and only would be hard due to I/O and graphics, which aren't exactly C's main focus

A small golfing language would be a great way to learn C. But if it's meant to be a public, working golfing language, I'd advise against it

We have, on average, 2 challenges a day. Anagol averages one per week, code.golf and Codidact both have closer to 1 per fortnight. I can't find a golfing site more active than those 4

Like here, you can use an esolang as soon as you make it

Other sites require issues or so to add a language to the submission checker

Also, other sites always enforce utf8 instead of allowing sbcs which makes using modern golf langs pain

(that's for sites like anagol etc. Codidact doesn't have those issues obviously)

Also because we quite frequently get questions on the HNQ due to the fact that multiple languages = multiple answers and because we actually vote

yeah. our HNQ rate is really high because of how the algorithm works; i'm pretty sure like at least half, quite possibly nearly all, new challenges get a spot on HNQ at some point

because they get a bunch of answers and like lyxal said we actually vote on things unlike some sites

some things you should consider adding: dot product, vectorised sum (at depth 1), triple, divisors of a number, does x divide y, is truthy, is falsey, flatten by depth, prepend x

I think it makes sense to use ASCII letters for the most common operations, because you can type them without needing to copy and paste from a codepage document

Use all ascii, otherwise you end up with pain

@lyxal suffixes could just be reverse + prefixes couldn't it? So you wouldn't need a digraph

someone picks a question from anywhere on the network, and people try to answer with the funniest, most unhelpful answer they can think of
