> Now Loonix f**s that hate on Ubuntu can use Arch on Windows. There is literally no reason to use Loonix as a separate OS anymore when Windows can run it without problems.
> NOTE: This batchfile works, but it is a terrible, bodged, undocumented monstrosity (proof-of-concept). If you don't want to break anything, wait for the first release. Which is ofc not a bloody batchfile.
The Challenge
GIFs are the most common image formats for animation, and are used pretty heavily in today's social media. For the purpose of this challenge, I'm going to redefine what a GIF can be. This challenge will require you to take in a 3D array containing some sort of representation of a 2...
Continued fractions are expressions that describe fractions iteratively. They can be represented graphically:
Or they can be represented as a list of values: [a0; a1, a2, a3, ... an]
The challenge:
take a base number: a0 and a list of denominator values: [a1, a2, a3, ... an] and simplify the...
They do distort it some either way. In some I've seen the "edges" aren't actually the edges also.

And yes, they did distort around the edges. Typically, the image would have black borders around the edges, where the distortion would be most prevalent.
The objective is to produce n perfect squares (nxn) of random integers (0-9) with a moving * that rotates clockwise around the corners, starting from the top left.
If n = 0, the output should be empty.
Output for n=1:

Output for n=2:
*3 4*

Output for n=3:
*34 82* 291

You'd think that after being repeatedly called out for sub-optimal behaviour in chat, one would try to reflect and improve. But somehow that doesn't seem to apply to a few members here.
@trichoplax the German layout isn't quite as bad but it's still quite painful for coding: []{}\~|@ are on Alt Gr (which I think you didn't even know about until a few days ago :D) and ^ and ` are deadkeys...
@trichoplax you press it once and nothing happens. you press a letter after it and it becomes a diacritic. you press space after it and the character itself is inserted. you press it twice and it's inserted twice...
the thing i love with azerty: ù and μ are on separate keys but ù have only one use in french and μ dont have any use, but É for example (which is way more used) dont have a separate key
Level 1: Go to Desktop. Take a screenshot. Set screenshot as desktop background. Kill explorer.exe. (Assuming Windows...) Level 2: Rotate the screenshot 180° before using it as the background, and then rotate the screen 180° (Ctrl+Alt+Down on Windows). Level 3: Also invert mouse cursor movement...
Speaking of Minecraft, turns out that the cheapest way to go for MC server hosting might be the Google Compute Engine - currently finishing set up of an MC server that successfully hosts 30 people smoothly on the super-cheap instance.
When we define a function that needs an import, we have to add it to the byte count. So far, so good. What about cases where the definition itself doesn't need the import, but when you want to call/execute the function you need it, for example to construct parameters?
Examples can be found here ...
I like how Unity looks but I have 2 problems:
Unity 3D
When I login with Unity 3D, my pc becomes slower, I got an AMD II X3 with 2GB of RAM, Nvidia Gforce 6150SE nForce 430/PCI/SSE2 integrated.
When I try to open the dash, take a lot of time to open, most often takes up to 5 seconds and while i...
I had the same thing with ati-drivers is a problem because some drivers do not support the procedures "GLX_EXT_texture_from_bitmap" it is necessary to work AIGLX. if there is no AIGLX everything goes through XGL, including 3D and therefore slow.
Background
First of all, this is not a question about opinions. I am assuming that we are talking about Unity 3D and on a computer with decent graphics configuration. By "desktop environment", I am assuming the most generally accepted definition of what a DE means.
I have seen lot of comparison...
