Still, if Ubuntu is trying to get serious about non-techie usage (which they're constantly saying they are), having the Software Center as the primary method of installing things is terrible. It's a bad interface, and "just do it in terminal" simply doesn't work for a lot of people.

For "feature A" I might have four commits, same thing with feature B, etc. Then I have a release branch. This is a branch kept tidy, I have s series of commits and I want to squash some of them together, and put them onto the release branch. E.g. dev branch might be: A-B-C-D-E-F I wanna squash it into ABC-DEF where I squashed (ABC) and (DEF)
