So order 2

Well, one potential first step would be to prove or disprove the existence of fixed points.
(Other than 0.)

What do you mean by fixed point?

A number generates itself.

So you mean the prime that the process terminates with is the same as the input?
Prime inputs have order 0

Right, I mean a composite number that is the same as its distinct prime factors concatenated.
Also, the fact that this is base-dependent makes this a bit messier.

11:04 PM
Oh, that would be interesting to know, just in general.

Heya
El'endia you need a hat.

Wow, I posted that Math.SE question just about 15 minutes ago and it already has 6 upvotes and 1 favorite. :O

speaking of math...
whoops

@anOKsquirrel I do have one. Look closer.
@AlexA. Pretty sure some of those upvotes (like mine) are because you posted it in here. :P

11:10 PM
@El'endiaStarman Haha that's probably the majority of them

@anOKsquirrel Your afro is inferior to mine.
Mine grabs my messages.
It's beautiful.

@FlagAsSpam hmmm, no.

1 hour ago, by El'endia Starman
@FlagAsSpam You have an incredibly distorted ideal of beauty.

I'm going to learn Hexagony now.

@anOKsquirrel Good luck

11:17 PM
dangit :/

Your link syntax is backwards

it always is :p

[text](URL)

so I can do (this)[codegolf.stackexchange.com/questions/66708/… in hexagony
still no?

heh mine was backwards

11:19 PM
heh

heh

heh
Dang, "heh" backwards is "heh".
2

whoa.

Recursive "heh".

11:20 PM
heh

ohoho

"Gnad" is "dang" backwards.

"gnat" is "tang" backwards.

no...
That would be "danG"

Gnat is inverse tang.

11:21 PM
@FlagAsSpam Palindromic Santa Claus

tang^-1(x) = gnat(x)
Also - I was the 1500th voter on the FAQ for SE.

@FlagAsSpam Not necessarily. Have you checked the vote breakdown? Surely there are at least a couple downvotes.

@AlexA. I can't. xD

I would but I can't.
I don't have enough rep :/

11:24 PM
I can't either.

why not?

I don't have enough rep on Meta.SE.

does anyone?

> Alex A. feels our pain.

+1510/-10

11:25 PM
Dammit.

Reminds me of youtube.

There's a Chrome extension that lets you see the vote-breakdown.

"first!!!!1" "actually, this has 1,000,000 views already."

@El'endiaStarman o-o

I wonder if people could commit point fraud by contributing a little bit with a bunch of accounts to get them able to vote and then make them all upvote all of their questions and answers.

11:26 PM
Easy way to get banned

The SE system looks for that already.

How does it detect it?

Exact details are purposefully kept secret.

Makes sense.

IP?

11:28 PM
I bet it's done with graphs!
or something
as in, graph theory. Not a chart.

@DanTheMan I just realized that you're a dinosaur, not an ostrich.

just some clever heuristics and common sense

I'm sure you could base it on the rate of upvotes, but you could probably make the bots stagger it.\
They could use what users each bot upvotes.

@DanTheMan That's called serial upvoting, which is caught and reversed automatically. It's also sock puppet voting, which warrants nuking all sock accounts and suspending the primary account.

I bet they use what users the bot upvotes, and if it's only one it bans?
ninja'd

11:30 PM
If all of the upvotes pointed to one user, then that would be a telltale sign.

as said by me, two posts ago
hey jedi

> Golf Me a Sock Maker!

What, like a sewing machine?
6

That was my point. ;D

11:36 PM
Does anyone know how to run a program on Mac from a terminal, without its stdout going to that or any other terminal?

/dev/null or something

exec something > /dev/null

bearmonkey'd
2

myprogram > /dev/null

git ninjad

11:37 PM

@FlagAsSpam Your name is becoming too much of a suggestion. It may be a good time to change it again :P

@Mego I will not change myself to be accepted by society! D:

How has 3 hours passed without any answers to my latest challenge?

@Mego I was thinking something similar.

Anonymous
I should post an answer to get things started :P

Sometimes, I wonder what people actually consider what they post on the internet.
