Generating a random output when a specific one is required
For example, if a challenge requires you to output 4, you can't output a random number, even if 4 is a possible output. You must output 4, and no other number.
It basically comes down to: Consensus is (by popular majority vote) it's annoying. We kindly ask @zʏᴀʙiɴ101 to stop with said habit, but not to leave chat entirely, because he does post good stuff also
I have found some of the things zʏᴀʙiɴ101 has posted in the past annoying, but this isn't one of them. I don't really see the problem with something brief and unintrusive that is only ever posted when no one is discussing anything else anyway
Just saying "From now this is spam" is cold, when you could say "Please, lots of us consider that as a spam and would like to not see that on the chat, or at least, see less of it"
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ I agree that's the most important thing here. We can disagree about who is or isn't annoying and when and why, but no one here wants anyone else to leave the chat. We all get along a lot better than a lot of other rooms - I like it here
@Katenkyo Then that needs to stop (at least the vocalization). That isn't what we mean. You can't complain about something that isn't true, and continue after you know it isn't true.
If he doesn't believe me, that's fine. But he can't complain anymore.
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ If it is spam only for 3 people, then saying it is spam couldn't be considered true, meaning you can't complain about him saying " the chat is dead"

@LeakyNun I think I'm missing the point somewhere. If f(x)=x^3, the f' is always non-negative and f is never decreasing. I think I'm missing what you mean by "converse"

@LeakyNun Not only is "non-positive" not necessary, it is also not sufficient. In general, if f' is non-positive, f is only non-increasing, not necessarily decreasing
@LeakyNun I think this is true in all cases I can think of. I don't have the expertise to say for certain that there isn't some weird exception, but I guess that it just follows from the definition of derivative. If f is strictly decreasing then f' must be negative whether taken from the left or the right. If f' is negative then even if the left and right derivative are different, as long as they're both negative I can't see how f could be anything but decreasing
