@quartata Oh don’t worry I picked out the least awful thing about it to nitpick at.

Then set it it up on terminal
vim uses terminals font

@Lynn I'm hoping it's fast code at least

@quartata A single tear rolled down my face... Followed by many more.

> splat operator ... fast code

@Mego Yeah.......

11:01 PM
@quartata well it is python so not sure what you were expecting :P

Where did that code come from? I'm like 95% sure there's a way to write it cleaner and faster

You don't want to see the rest of this, trust me. (I'm only 25% through too)

@Downgoat It really just doesn't work the other way around

Basically I have a constraint that's like this: [lambda, [numbers representing variables it operates on....]]
And I have a list of currently satisfied variables
But I also have the next variable I'm trying to satisfy

Anonymous
That sounds like you're trying to do SAT the hard way

11:03 PM
So I want to call the function with the satisfied variables it needs + the next one and I only want one loop
Constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) are mathematical problems defined as a set of objects whose state must satisfy a number of constraints or limitations. CSPs represent the entities in a problem as a homogeneous collection of finite constraints over variables, which is solved by constraint satisfaction methods. CSPs are the subject of intense research in both artificial intelligence and operations research, since the regularity in their formulation provides a common basis to analyze and solve problems of many seemingly unrelated families. CSPs often exhibit high complexity, requiring a...
it's far worse

Gross

I'm trying to do it with a backtracking search + constraint learning

My suggestion is the liberal application of vodka

Blergh.

That's my approach to most problems, though :P

11:05 PM
Why do you people drink something that tastes like and basically is rubbing alcohol

installed it
what do I do now @Downgoat?

Anonymous
Grain alcohol is pretty different than rubbing alcohol

Anonymous
And obviously you mix it with other stuff :P

@Qwerp-Derp what terminal do you use?/what os

Windows

11:08 PM
Just realized that for learning I need to use this twice so I might as well concatenate them into a list

@Qwerp-Derp what terminal?

Uhhh
cmd?

So the if/else part is gone
That makes it slightly more sane

This is already exponential anyways so I'm not sure why I'm micro-optimizing

I haven't seen a single review task today... How am I supposed to test out the review auto comments userscript if there are no tasks? :P

PPCGers do everything perfectly the first time. No need for review.

@noɥʇʎPʎzɐɹC Is this a super-unintuitive explanation of a priority queue?

@quartata looks like it

A: Sandbox for Proposed Challenges

Oliver NiPokemon Catching A Pokemon of rarity R (an integer) (5 <= R <= 10) stands N (an integer) feet away from you (0 < N <= 50). Your task is to determine the probability catching the Pokemon if you throw a Pokeball T (an integer) feet away (0 <= T <= 100). The probability of not catching the Pokemon...
