Cortana is pretty awful, but it does do some neat things...

So does Google Assistant

Don't know about Google Assistant.. But Cortana tells me where my packages are and when they will be delivered...

and she reads text messages to me and send them for me...

and...she syncs across all my devices (except Ubuntu)

@TheXed Google Assistant is a direct competitor to Siri. It has pretty much everything Siri has and also adds a context feature, where it remembers the subject on the conversation. It also has a much better voice, since it's Google
