How to find out which X11 driver system is using?
For my chip openchrome is the best driver but I suspect that system is not using it. I just need at least 2D acceleration.
How can I check?

I've installed GNOME-Shell from the software centre and it installed with no problems. However when I log out, select GNOME from the dropdown menu and log back in, it just loads Unity.
Any ideas? I'm running 11.10 on an older Toshiba Satellite A100.

The cap of 100 for posts seems reasonable, however I cannot return the entire site list in one request. Due to the rapid growth of the network I now have to use two requests to grab the entire site list.

I've somehow accidentally uninstalled Software Center and I can't seem to reinstall it. I don't have a web browser currently on the computer, as I uninstalled Firefox to get Chrome, and didn't install Chrome before my Software Center disappeared.

So I installed compiz manager and ticked water effect or something, after that unity menu crashed and i can not enable it, unity 2D works fine
can some one help me to re enable unity
