Please refer to the attached screen-shot. This error comes every time I boot and now I am unable to get any updates.
Also, the Ubuntu Software Center will no longer work. I click on the USC icon and nothing happens.

I think I've had too much caffeine this morning. I'm typing BOOM! everywhere (including in source code comments for work). It's like a Mickey Bay film over here.
With those sorts of companies, it's often easiest to use a method of payment that you can block (eg a Direct Debit in the UK or a credit card that you can call up to block future payments). As long as you don't block payments while within a set-time contract, they usually get the message pretty quickly.
Plus, they contact you which saves a few minutes fighting switchboards.
i though it would be as simple as calling the guys: "hey i must cancel my contract NOW. i know i still have to pay for some months, bla bla bla." NO! it's like calling like 10 people, telling everyone the same story. :-( i've given up and will visit their stores today in person. so if anything goes wrong, they get direct customer feedback. >:D
Well yeah the first person you speak to is sales and very light customer support. They have to transfer you off because they don't have perms to close accounts. They'll push you off to retentions who are just sales people who are authorised to "make a deal" and con you into another 12 months of indenture. You have to slip through more and more circles of hell before you find the one person in the call centre who is able to close an account.
I wouldn't put any faith in the store monkeys either though.
@AmithKK All the services were down. That happens from time to time.
@AmithKK That's what I heard latest. Jonathan Carter sent an email out to the people up for membership suggesting that they'd try to rearrange a date for this meeting. That was about 21 hours ago. The EMEA wiki has also changed to mirror that.

> Dating a girl is just like writing software. Everything's going to work just fine in the testing lab (dating), but as soon as you have contract with a customer (marriage), then your program (life) is going to be facing new situations you never expected. You'll be forced to patch the code (admit you're wrong) and then the code (wife) will just end up all bloated and unmaintainable in the end.
isp: shop no longer there \o/, tv provider: yeah, it's "in progress" (i knew that - however, he couldn't tell me what that means :D), mobile: three pretty but not very bright girls came to the conclusion that they cannot cancel contracts. or aren't allowed to - not sure really.
i should write a book on how to effectively burn time. :D
I just upgraded to 11.10 and lost my inbox messages in Evolution. All subfolders and their content exists and continues to receive messages but the Inbox folder remains empty (although I know I have been getting messages [via iPhone inbox]).
I've tried searching for /home/[myuser]/.local/shar...
To avoid problems with a theme I create I start with another theme and then copy it over to a new name and use theme Equinox Evolution Midnight to create a new theme that I name Rinzwind. This avoids errors, crashes and notices about things not being present for this theme.

@Rinzwind No of course not. A fairly typical thing is to add another answer or edit the current one so you have # For 11.10 at the top and # For older releases underneath. That's totally optional though. You can let somebody else do that.
Can we have like different list of answers for each Ubuntu version? Like if I go to a question with answers specific to 11.04, and a new answer it will appear in a different area.
