Oli
11:02 PM
@JorgeCastro The bcm4311 mess is a little less messy now. The only remaining non-duplicates either aren't fixed by 38327 or they're a different issue (just related to the 4311)

noice
whoa, sort by traffic
Ask Different came out of nowhere and passed Gaming

jrg
iOS5 release.
Wait, when did we actually pass gaming in traffic?!

last month sometime
it's been a while actually since we passed them
but it was always neck and neck

jrg
NOICE. 151 questions/day.
That's second only to stackoverflow.
at 4k/day. :D

11:08 PM
wow

right, hence why I linked it

4k a day must be insane

and apparantly that's out of date, it was more like ~250/day recently according to @MarcoCeppi

I'm back now.

gn all

11:23 PM
test

jrg
waves

@MarcoCeppi Off to your meeting tonight?

@GeorgeEdison yeah, but doing it via 3G on a train. We'll see how this goes.

@MarcoCeppi Hope it goes well.

@MarcoCeppi hope that they have enough time to get to you

11:36 PM
Me too

heh
when is it?

in ~25 min I think

jrg
Yeah, ajmitch is right.

@JorgeCastro going to turn up to support the AU folks?

I left testimonials
but I'm idling

jrg
11:38 PM
Yeah, if they don't read the testimonials we're in trouble. :D

I'm always lurking in there, anyway
then again, I'm lurking everywhere >:)

jrg
@MarcoCeppi are we the only ones who don't have a dozen loco members in support of us? :D

@jrg you don't need them

heh....yeah

jrg
@ajmitch I know, was just remarking about it.

11:41 PM
@jrg it's more an indication of how people get involved with ubuntu
@jrg you're not worried, I hope?

jrg
@ajmitch :) Hence why my page has about ~15 mentions of "ask ubuntu"/"askubuntu" and almost no loco.
@ajmitch worried? no. nervous I'll make some stupid typo? Yes. :)

I don't think anyone really cares about that
it's not like you're going for a grilling before the DMB :)
or the tech board, as it was back when I did it

jrg
Debian Membership Board?

no, developer membership board
debian does things a little differently

jrg
ah, ok.

11:46 PM
Ah

you can imagine the fun of going before the tech board & getting grilled on technical questions, and being responsible for uploads, etc

jrg
wince I'll stick with documentation, and bothering people like you about packaging. :P

heh
I should go in #ubuntu-meeting & cheer for debian...
seeing @MarcoCeppi advocating running the latest bleeding edge code on servers ;)

haha

I do actually run debian on servers for work, though :)

11:59 PM
I went from CentOS -> Ubuntu. I used to just do CentOS servers and Debian desktop

how evil
