@Lucio ?? functionality != use case. functionality is a something it does. so a feature as granular as you can make it and keep it independent is an app. this way the most people possible can use your snap-in. then if you build something cool that uses loads of apps, it's still simple to pip install the whole load of them... so no matter what you're winning.
take the oath and social thing as an example: you have to use oauth to get social media integration right? so ask the oauth app to authenticate for you. then the only thing in your social media app is the post a like, tweet, etc button set.
@Seth fair point. i think blacklist or some iteration of modprobe-blacklist could give specificity to say "i want to block peripheral xyz" in a hyper-specific tag.

After the last (not so big thanks to Shog(\o/)) blast of spam a couple users and I (with a mod) decided to run some tests. We found that it's extremely easy to post a spam question. Ridiculously easy.
One thing we noticed about these spam users is that most of them are unregistered.

@NathanOsman you didn't have a ton of email addresses or a captcha solving service in your pocket. either one could have put you over the threshold i think.
i'ld be interested to know if the email addresses used to bulk register are from one domain, and if they are if that's a private domain - so the spammer can just create infinite accounts - or if they have a gmail creation bot/service.

if i were writing it, i would do registration and wait on each step. do question editing, and wait on each step. etc etc. so it's slow to automate over tor if you want consistent success if you think about it
