@vayacondios2015 it seems to be telling you to use | xargs --null instead of | xargs -0 - I thought it was the same, but have you tried both?

the reason for the for loop is to create an outfile compiled from the results from each directory @Serg

for each directory do find & write this file of the results from find

or to be complete, for everything at/this/place, if it's a directory, do find some files and zgrep them for this and write the results to a file... I think find cannot do that

tbh I allmost rm -r * on ~ one day when I wanted to empty my playground, I didn't realise I had cd .. some time before... I actually typed it and just glanced at my prompt to double check before hitting return

@Serg but i am a gamer at heart, so WASD and arrow keys are my thing. i might remap hjkl to ijkl as my colleague suggested :p

Well, if it's VIM , you can use keys alright, but if it's vim-tiny or the legacy vi . . . well, you better know how to use them hjkl keys

Mostly PyCharm for Python, larger Bash scripts mainly in Gedit.
