Actually scratch that, both the Q/A are plagiarized word-for-word and should be attributed AND preferably CW'd. Eliah may throw a fit if he sees so many ripped, however good her intentions may have been.
They should just be deleted unless she edits them -- it's essentially a mirror of whatever's on Launchpad Q/A without the context. There are more meritorious questions to edit...
What do I do if an answer is a valid answer, but due to the OP's constraints, cannot be carried out(tells to use Live CD when P asks for operation during runtime and cannot use live installation media)?

This room was placed in timeout for 1 minute; the topic of this room is "General discussion around Ubuntu & Ask Ubuntu and official Ubuntu derivatives." - conversation should be limited to that topic.
We can edit, and thats it. Any further incidents of plagiarism, purposefully or accidental, needs to be taken up in flags. Talking about it in chat isn't going to fix anything.

I'm still yet to successfully build a MAAS server, deploy nodes and charms with 12.04 LTS. In my latest troubleshooting in my logs, I have found several errors in my syslog pertaining to permissions issues with apparmor. Every time I would fix one, another would show up. I finally decided to disa...
I don't recommend making a bot to post things, also I don't want to make a new tag for this. If there is to be a mass migration (which would be fine) each item needs to be peer reviewed. So a user script that grabs the content from LP, then puts it in the question/answer box on AU and applies basic formatting. Then a person would just "accept" and the CW option would be auto-selected
@JorgeCastro if you hear word of moving more content over, maybe a meta post to discuss how to best migrate content could be created. Though it looks like it's just MaaS stuff for now
@Eliah : your answer to this question is excellent, could you please ruthlessly edit the terrible question to something decent? As is "please upload his file to mediafire for me" may be on to close-ville
How can i change the behavior of the launcher icons ?
I only want backgrounds or borders if the application is active, like i have it on Unity 3D.
And why are so many questions not good enough for ask ubuntu ...
@izx I also edited the other answer, so that people don't think its author didn't read the question (I don't want it to be wrongly downvoted by people who read only the newly edited question). Please edit again if you think the italicized text I added should be worded differently. Or let me know if you don't think that edit is appropriate.
Trusting files uploaded by other people for use inside your kernel is extremely insecure. Your best bet is to find these files on another system you installed and copy them yourself, or probably do a reinstallation.
Edit: This answer most particularly addresses an earlier version of the question...
@izx I know what you mean. Clearly it was not really a typo, but an intentional metaphor. You had begun to eat my tasty edit, but belched it back up at the top of the post. ;-)
